Get into your laptop' BIOS settings. Do you see your new harddrive listed here?
Hard drives in consumer laptops/desktops don't need additional drivers in order to be recognised by Windows (unless you're installing Windows 98, or XP-SP2)....
Where does it say it cant find drivers? Is it saying CD driver or hard drive driver?
Are you trying to do AHCI or RAID?
There is no harddrive drivers required as they use the standard windows drivers. Now if doing AHCI or RAID as mentioned above you need to load the drivers in the windows install.
