Dropped Toshiba Laptop

So my brother dropped my Toshiba satallite laptop about an hour ago, it turns on, Toshiba leading innovation screen appears, windows account login appears, then screen goes black, sometimes account login screen freezes. Anyone know what's wrong?

Unless you had a solid-state disk, you probably had the mechanical disk heads contact (and grind into) the spinning disk platters. Your hard drive is probably TOAST.
