TV was dropped from a about 2.5 feet and now wont turn on. After being dropped the fuse for the room switched off. After switching the fuse back on the TV still wont even go on standby. All the plug sockets work . There doesn't appear to have any external damage and the TV doesnt rattle or anything when moved/shaken.

Do I need to replace the fuse in the plug or is the TV just completely broken?

Solution
TV has been damaged. If the TV has a blown fuse it wouldn't likely to be the cause of the problem but a symptom..
You can open the back of the TV and see if there is any obvious damage. Depending on the size and age of the TV you may find replacing it is a better option than repair.
