Hi Everyone,
I have searched high and low and have not found a solution to my question.
I have a laptop with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card. It has both VGA and HDMI outputs. I want to be able to use 2 external monitors as the main monitors when at my desk at home. I plan on closing the laptop so the laptop screen wont be in use.
So here is the question. Can I run both monitors of the HDMI port? As in, use a splitter from HDMI-> Dual HDMI? Or use a HDMI -> Dual-DVI-D splitter and run a DVI cable to each monitor? I don't want replication, I want my desktop to be extended from one display to the other. My fallback plan is to use the HDMI port for one monitor and VGA for the other, however I would like to keep the signal digital for both.
Thanks for your help.
