Early 2009 Macbook - Add SSD - move OS

I have as mentioned an early 2009 MacBook. I have an SSD in another laptop I no longer want to use. It has a perfect version of Windows 10 on it. I would like to install this SSD in the MacBook, migrate my current OSX El Capitan to the SSD and Keep the current version of Win10.

How do I do that exactly? I am a PC guy, so I am a bit baffled by OSX.

P.S. I want to upgrade the 2gigs of ram. I've heard of mismatching 2 and 4 gigs for a total of 6, which will allow it to run a lot faster. Any info on this? Also, can I just plop 8 gigs in here?

Firstly Windows will work on Mac using bootcamp, coz bootcamp will install the necessary drivers for windows to work.
If you are Keeping the current version of Windows 10 and want to run it on Mac, its not possible and driver issue of course.
Next your SSD with windows 10 will be in the NTFS format on which Mac OSX wont be able to run, So you need to format the SSD to Mac os extended journaled before installing Mac OSX. SO basically you need to backup the data and format the drive.
