I told by my service provider that the only way I can subscribe to east
coast stations is if I can provide a receipt showing where at sometime I
subscribed to "any" network station. Does anyone have a suggestion of how I
can obtain such a receipt?
I'm not trying to break the law, as I will be paying the subscription fee.
Any help would be appreciated

Yes you are, if you are fraudulently obtaining services under false
pretenses, even if payment has been made.
To be not illegal, you simly have to show a bill proving you have at
one time subscribed to the services inquestion. if you cannot produce
one, or have actually not subscribed to a network station before, you
are SOL.

If you live in a place where you can't receive your local networks over the
air, you will have to get your local networks to sign a waiver that you will
give to your service provider.

Never mind those comments ...Do as I do. Take a phone book find a fictive
address in the location where you should be living like a Train station .
Call in to subscribe but only pay with your Credit Card. Never mind the
bills in the mail they'll just be either lost or returned . They will NEVER
notice. I've been doing this for 8 years now started with turnervision and
was bounced around to Netlink etc and still active. Get the Megaview
package and either pay monthly , every three months or yearly. Make sure
you call them on a cell phone for the first time.

Good luck

YES ! Option number 2.... Get a Satellite provider receip from a friend
other than your own provider that you know provides east coast feeds. Then
Scan it into your Computer, modify the address, name and ZIP to match your
own. Erase the contents of the bill or note and modify it with the (not too
obvious) wording of East coast feeds etc. But dont forget to leave some text
in there to make it look official.
Then print it , wear it on you for a few days to give it that old feeling,
and mail it or better yet Fax it to your provider as proof.
A few drops of coffee on it wouldn't hurt either. It's not ,shall we say
Lying , or forging, in modern terms it's called "bending the truth" to
outfox the system.... Good luck

No, that does not entitle you to anything, that is an excuse to
partake in your asctivity.

It primarily violates copytrights, and falsifying addresses is bad
enough, but falsifying documentation, even counseling one to do so,
its crossing the line.
