ecs 915p-a 1.1 audio driver

hello...
i have Motherboard ecs 915p-a 1.1
im tring to install the on board audio MCI9880.
in the BIOS the audio is enabled, in the device manager it recognize the audio device as PCI device (while its on board device).
when trying to install directly from the Motherboard CD it say that the device does not exist
im getting the same result when trying to install from device manager.

does any 1 know this problem?
does any 1 know frmo where i can dl the right driver?

io dl your drivers but it didnt help.
but i know what the problem is...
the problem is that im stupid hehehehhe, i tried to install it on windows XP with no sp1 (or 2), after installing the SP it worked...
isnt that great?

but why the HELL didnt they said something in thier manual?
couldnt they say something? damn...
