Did anyone check the Edirol UA-25 yet? I'd like to know how the noise floor
on the line input measures in Sound Forge or Wavelab. Could anyone check it
for me?

thanks in advance

Also, can anyone tell me if:
- it is bit accurate
- it can operate in "standalone" A/D mode, ie., digital output appears, even
when not connected to a USB port (*)

(*) Note: it doesn't seem to have an external power source, just the USB port.
So, you would have to hack a USB connector to supply 5V on the right pins.

Have one on the way. Will let you know. Looks like a lovely piece of kit!

Is the UA-25's ASIO-drivers any good? (ASIO2?)

I'll be using the soundcard with a laptop. 1,4GHz Centrino CPU, 512MB ram,
and Cubase SX (1 or 2). What kind of latency could I expect?

Thanks!
