editing audio after rendering

Hi, After adding music to a video (with sound) and after render as mp4, I can still edit the video part but both audio video and music have merge in one single audio track. Is it possible to unmerge the audio track after rendering? I'm using vegas 13. Thanks

Theres a program called virtualdub for windows with the right plugins can extract audio in wav format

Once you open the program go to file - - > open video file

after the video file has been open go to file - - > save wav
