Element 40 inch

We recently purchased a element 40 inch tv model elfw4017bf and purchased an rca soundbar with subwoofer and we are having a hard time connecting the sounbar sound w the tv . Works fine w our blutooth on our phones...Help what are we doing wrong

What connection method are you using to connect soundbar to TV?

That TV model doesn't have a bluetooth adapter in it as far as I can ascertain, so that method won't work.

You may have to turn the audio output on, the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type in the TV menu. Check the TV owners manual.
