employee monitoring - what's best?

i have a need to monitor employee computer activity (mainly browser, but occasionally apps like java stuff). what's recommended? i can tell that some users are more legit and others are a bit.... shall we say loose. so rather than a blanket ban, i'd like to be more strategic if possible

i've so far stumbled on SONAR by InterGuard.

By far one of the best I know of I designed for schools but I called AB Tutor Control. You can watch screens in real time and set it too take screenshots when certain phrases are entered.
