Solved! Equilizer not afffecting rear jack [SOLVED]

HI all,

I have been trying to figure out a way of using an equalizer on my speakers(rear/motherboard jack). I am currently using it on the front jack through my headphones(Front/case jack) with no issue. When I go into properties for the speakers and the headphones, I have clicked a box saying "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" which in theory should allow me to use the equalizer. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work for the rear jack. I have tried only affecting the speakers with the application with no effect. Is there a way to make sure an outside application is controlling the speaker jack?

They both appear to use the same driver and the equalizer is Peters equalizer apo.

So, I pulled an amateur move...went into enhancements and unclicked disable all enhancements. Worked like a charm.
