I have been using WinX DVD Author (v. 6.3.6) for over a year with no problems. However, I recently ran into a problem when trying to burn videos onto a disc. The error message I get is "Access violation at address 10ABF027 in module 'DVDDeadDLL.dll'. Read of address 00000038."
This error only happens on some files, but I am unaware of what the problem is. I tried reinstalling the application to a newer version (v 6.3.9) but no solution.
I can burn files such as .mkv, .mp4, .avi, etc., but some other similar files come up with the same error.
