My Sony XBR 60" SXRD is broken... AGAIN.

Anyway, Best Buy is going to replace it.

I'm not sure how liberal they will be, but going to make sure I push for a 55-60" LED backlit LCD or Plasma TV.

Currently looking at LCDs:
Samsung UN55B7100
Samsung UN55B6000
Samsung LN55A950 (is this LED??)
Sony Bravia XBR KDL-55XBR8

Plasma:
Pioneer PDP-6020FD
Panasonic TH-58PZ850U

Thing is that I'm getting shipped out to England in a month. Hoping to find something that is compatible with the European HDMI format.. (50 vs 60 hz???) as well as America. Don't much care about over the air, or even needing to convert the input voltage.

I see devices like this HDMI converter: http://www.amazon.com/Atlona-AT-HD560-HDMI-Converter-1080p/dp/B0011MOVN8
Are they any good?

Samsung's documentation sucks. The Sony says it will input 50/60 Hz electrical at 120-240V. What's the likelihood it would input either video format??

Thanks!
