Excel and date

Hello, When using Excel I have my cells formatted as dd, when I add 31+7 is gives me 38 instead of 07

Make sure that cell you are in is the same format as the others. I just tried in Excel 2003, when I used the formula =31+7 got 07 no issues. Maybe check to make sure you have the latest service pack.
