Question EXP GDC Beast Blank Screen ASUS fx503vd

Hi so I’m having problems getting the NGFF version of the EXP GDC Beast working so the setup I’m using is an ASUS fx503vd EVGA GTX 1060 6gb EVGA 500w PSU. So when I get everything setup and turn the laptop on the power supply starts up and the green light on the beast turns on but the laptop display and external display both stay blank. Also I have tested the GPU in my desktop and it works just fine and the power supply is brand new so I’m guessing the problem is either with the beast itself or maybe a problem with the bios on the laptop? I’ve heard about certain manufacturers whitelisting so the laptop won’t boot if it doesn’t recognize what’s plugged into the wireless slot. But I’ve also heard that ASUS doesn’t do that with there laptops. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
