my seagate external hard drive disc structure is corrupted and unreadable, how can i correct this or get my data off

Check Easeus for some data recovery software. Cannot remember what it is called off hand, but it works great. Just do not turn the drive on again until you are ready to recover it as the problem can quickly degrade causing major issues.
