External monitors for laptops

I have a Dell Latitude E6510. I have two external monitors connected plus the laptop monitor. How can I close the laptop without loosing video on the two external monitors?

You can't close the laptop and it still work.

Last time I used an external monitor, my lappie was in a docking station and there was a monitor stand above the docking station upon which the monitor sat which prevented the laptop from being open at the same time. So it is possible. Have you asked Dell ?

Go into Control Panel/Power Options/Advanced. There should be an option for lid behavior. Change it to not go to sleep when the lid is closed.
