Hey everyone.

I'm in need of an extra charger for my MSI GS60 laptop.

The one that came with the PC is HUGE, and I'd like a smaller one to bring to school etc.

Thing is, I'm not even sure if it's possible. MSI have some power-feature-thingie that relies on the power supply so the laptop can overclock it self. It's called "Hybrid Power".

Is it possible to get a new one, without ruining the battery etc.?
Also, if it is possible, do you have any recommendations as to which one(s) I should get?

I included some pictures of the current power supply, I don't know if it'll help.

As far as getting a smaller AC adapter that might be out of the question... that's a pretty beefy laptop and it draws a lot of power, it's not some starter level laptop that only needs a 65w adapter

What about these:

http://www.amazon.com/GPK-Systems%C2%AE-Adapter-Notebook-Stealth/dp/B00KXF1YN4/ref=pd_cp_pc_0

I think they're slightly different though... one looks like its compatible with MSI GS60 Ghost, and the other is for MSI GS60 PE Ghost, they appear to have different connector tips

You really have to be careful when buying non-proprietary AC...

You really have to be careful when buying non-proprietary AC adapters especially from places like amazon. I've purchased adapters for lenovo laptops from amazon made by some obscure manufacturer and received something completely different than what was shown in the picture & described in the specs

You're probaly right about the sizing, it was a stupid assumption to think that there'd be smaller ones available.
The 2nd one looks like the correct plug. Thanks alot.
I'll just have to track down one on the British Amazon now.
