Facebook chat recovery

From the download copy section of facebook, I recovered all people chat mesages but I did not recovered deleted conversation of my frend who recently unfrended me..can i recover this conversation

I think if you have archived them, you can retrieve them. If you deleted them, then they are gone and you cannot get them back...
