My account has been hacked and the hacker changed everything from password to photos and friends. I am still trying to report my account and there is no way to do that. I really detest Facebook for allowing this and I don't even care for account anymore but I just want to shut this account or unlink my email from this account. The facebook account I am referring to is not this one but an alternate one. I got all kinds of notification on the email from friends being added and statuses changed. Tried to reset password, but then I need to indentify myself by linking names names to photo's from my friends, which are not my friends. Second possibility is ligging in from a browser used before, but I only logged in on my old pc which I don't have anymore...

The account is used to scam people and possible used to radicalize people. Please help me to unlink it, block it, or delete it. Tried contacting facebook but I had to scan in my ID but all info is changed so adding my ID is useless. Should I maybe contact the police or won't that help?

Solution
Your codes are one resource, and three trusted friends another.
I'm on my fourth FB account, driven by FBI level intrusion. They (FB) themselves bounced me for "security reasons".
Mine was a phishing network. Fact is? They now have your contact info....
Rather than risk the safety of others? I closed my account, paying a specialist to expedite, as closure is not complete for 14 days.
I wish you luck? But I might just lay low after account deletion, and begin again. No one WANTS a pseudonym... it's sometimes the only answer.
A good VPN can bury you in the area where most of your contacts are located. Leave a contact access, and I can tell you the various ways I managed things. Additionally? Check your next FB account DAILY in...

Tried reporting the profile from another profile? If you can't recover it might as well report it so the scamming doesn't spread more.
But how can't you reset the password if you still have the mail and the mail is linked to the account?
Also i'd change the email password too just in case.

Check your next FB account DAILY in settings... if a new face shows up in contacts? Do not open their profile- just block only. And only keep a small number of friends, with all settings set to friends only- never public.
Party's over.
