Facebook Photos not rotating

I have got a iPad ios 12.1, when I click on a photo on Facebook, when it is in landscape mod, it opens up in portrait mode. (The wrong way round). The same happens when I open my Facebook photo albums.
I have reset the iPad, and removed Facebook and installed it again, still the same. It only happens on Facebook photos.

Nope, it only happens with Facebook photos (newsfeed and album photos)!

Oh, then that's a mystery. Sorry, I tried looking for solutions online too but to no avail.

I am going to get in touch with the Facebook developers!

My iPad (iPad Pro 9.7) also started doing this recently. I think it arrived with the upgrade to iOS 12.1.
The same has happened with the YouNow app – it'll only display in portrait mode. It used to be able to rotate between portrait and landscape.
PS: I've checked – rotation lock isn't on.

My iPad2 is rotating photos too when I open in FB. Started doing it about a week ago - prior to latest upgrade I installed yesterday ...

I am having exactly the same problem. Just started out of the blue! Can’t find any sign of a solution anywhere

Same on my iPad, only started yesterday (19/11/18) before update. I’ve also deleted app, re-installed and done the iOS update and still doing it. If I rotate my screen it rotates it correctly, but have to do that every time.

I am having the same issue since yesterday. It just happened by itself. Checked all settings. Couldn’t resolve it.

Same here, I am having the same problem, just started happening a few days ago, I called Apple support, she put the blame on Facebook. Facebook has no way to alert them to problems.

It’s been happening to my iPad Pro iOS 12.1 for the past 48 hours. Only in Facebook.
