Failed installation on samsung netbook

Hi ive got a samsung nc10 netbook to fix for my bro. Ive loaded windows 7,windows 8.1 and xp on to usb on seperate occasions for installation and it freezes on every single 1. It originally had an error missing NTLDR so i tried hirens fix ntldr step 1 to 7 to fix it but to no avail. I have also removed hdd and formated it on my desktop, checked for disk errors which come back clear plus copied and played mp3 to see if it works and it does. Am i right on thinking maybe it could be an overheating cpu. The battery is dead just now awaiting delivery of a new charger so im clueless to whats up. Help please.

Do a RAM test-bad RAM can give all sorts of errors, especially during installations. I've seen it do everything from tell you it can't read the CD (even when there isn't a CD, lol) to making the install fail completely.

What happen if you remove the RAM, clean it and try again?
