It looks really good, but the grain on the textures might need to be toned down a bit, or at least varied a tad more. That would make them look much better.

In all, the imagery is fantastic and I would love to play a game with environments such as these.

Think about how I feel, I'm using the duo 6600 😛

He makes is sounds like the q6600 is obsolete for gaming or something haha.Still is a beast CPU.Anyways I reaaaaaallly want to play an RPG now with cry engine 2.I hope someone makes one soon.Indie game or mainstream dev.I dont care haha.

It's not a great gaming CPU unless this engine is more optimized for Quadcores than previous engines. The E8500 was among the best made around that time. The Q6600 is quite a few generations behind in terms of gaming use. I'm not saying it's a bad CPU, but upgrade time might be coming soon if you want to continue getting good gaming performance.

The problem with the cry engine, is that even if you shoot one bullet from a distance, the AI all accurately shoot at you hiding behind the one bush you are hiding behind in the lush scenery.

The map maker can adjust that with the ai graph and some scripting.

If this guy can make the content I am sure like me there is 1000 mile long line of mapmakers willing to help out and make the first game since UT2k4 / FEAR1 / (Graw1 bugs and all) .

As for the q6600 it is more than enough even a t2600 dual core 2.16ghz laptop cpu is enough just need to fine tune and do a lot of testing on the maps.

Usually QOP / QOS sucks when greed enters in.
This happens with developers paying game makers / map makers US$3 per hour illegal rates and 90 hours a week instead of making the goose "their team" that lays the golden egg comfortable and relaxed with good pay that will result in more cash in the retard Developers pockets.

IE: garbage in = garbage out. QOS in = QOS out.
People that is serious about quality and their legacy will build decent maps / games that surpasses all time.

PS> all gaming engines has defects and bugs, this happens when the developer becomes greedy and informs the team that they need to push bugs and all to get cash in.

That is why all indy. garage jobs is so much better than large retard company junk / "nightmare on elm street 45" sequel DRM junk.

It is annoying you have to click the zoom then enlarge and then the actual picture to show up in a new window in firefox.
Something small they can fix like 1 click to enlarge.

Still, the graphics is not very compelling. Need to wait another 10 years. I assume, I won't be interested in gaming by then.
