Finding a average gaming laptop

I'm currently finding a laptop for my friend and this is what specs he demands:

-Processor:Intel Core i7(4700 or 4710)
-Graphics Card:Nvidia GTX 850m 2GB (GDDR5 is best)
-RAM:4-8 GB DDR3
-Hard-Drive:1TB HDD and SSD is optional
-Screen:15.6" and maybe 1080p

He currently plays not-so-graphics-demanding games such as DOTA and whatnot but he wants a gaming laptop that will last him quite some time.So I would like some of you to recommend what laptop he should get.

Hmmm.... you can't get alot for that price, but I found This for 1000 USD. its probably his best bet. here are a few more, in order of price-
Exactly the same as the Y70, but only ships with a 256 gig SSD Price- $1200
Lenovo Y70 TOUCH Laptop- $1300.
Origin EON15-X. Out of his price range at 1660 USD, but it's a fantastic deal. the laptop should be going for way more then this. tell him to consider saving up.

This or the Lenovo Ideapad Y510P is a great laptop for the price!
