firmware upgrade for Nokia 6340i

Hi everyone,

I heard from this newsgroup that someone got their Nokia 6340i
firmware upgraded at the local Cingular store in Houston, Texas.

I also have this phone and live in Houston and would like to have my
phone's firmware upgraded. Can you tell me which Cingular store in
Houston can do it?

Cingular no longer has service in Houston. However there are a couple of
high level Nokia repair outfits in Houston. You can call Nokia USA and they
can give you their names.

The latest firmware on the 6340i is 8.06.1 3/14/04 I have another one
that is 8.03.1 and it works fine too.
