Firefox is one of the most used web browsers in the world. When an unexpected error pops up while watching Netflix, users have to go through a few steps to refresh the browsers information. Within a few minutes the error will be gone so that you can watch shows normally.

1. Open The Firefox Menu

In the upper right corner of the browser there are three lines. Click on it to open the options menu for the browser.

2. Select Help

You can accomplish this by selecting the word “Help” or the actual question mark symbol. Either one will bring you to the same place. A submenu will pop up with several more options.

4. Read The Warning

A dialog will warn that refreshing Firefox will remove modified browser preferences like add-ons and customizations. It will also restore personalized settings to their browser defaults. This would be a good time to look over your settings/add-ons/customizations. They can be restored manually, but if you have a lot it will take time.
