fix wet power cord

A can of tea spilled in the compartment where I keep my power cord for my laptop. Now the cord won't charge my laptop. Can I save it...the power cord,that is?

If this is just the cord and NOT the charger then you could dip the plugs into a bowl of water to soak the tea off then let it completely dry.
If you have some Isopropyl Alcohol then clean the plugs with it.
