my flat screen tv blue light flshes but wont answer the remote wen you press the power button

Happens pretty often, power supply or another board could be bad on the TV. If you know how, take off the back and check the boards for issues, or get it serviced or replace the TV.

I'm assuming you tried the power button on the TV itself to rule out the remote being bad?
