Fob will unlock but not lock 2007 FJ Cruiser

Hello,
my key fob will not lock the doors on mt 2007 fj cruiser. The door open warning light stays on and I get a tone like the door is open when I try to lock it with the fob even though all doors are closed. Thank you.

sounds like a faulty door ajar sensor.

you can test the lines with a multimeter or logic probe to see if the circuit opens and closes.
