My LG PREMIER LTE will not open in the dark. I know it's working because it will ring or I will receive text alerts but I've can press the on button and it will not light up it stays dark.

Sounds like either the connection to the display is loose, or the display needs replacing.

If it is under warranty still, contact the manufacturer.
