font too small on new high resolution pc

How do I change the font size and display setting on these new high resolution pc's? The default resolution is 2560x1440. The font is tiny. Even after maximizing it in the control panel, font is still tiny especially in my browsers

I don't want to change the resolution. I want high resolution, but I want to increase the font size.

you can change the browser font too. google the browser settings

Ctrl + Scroll Up. Should work in most software.

The solutions offered are enlarging the text within Chrome, which is helpful. Thank you. My problem still is that the font in the address bar is still tiny even though the text in the body of the page has been enlarged. Any ideas?

Um. I don't use Chrome much (or Windows for that matter).

When you "maximiz[e] it in the control panel", that's changing the DPI of the display, correct? Do you see a visible difference when changing it? You know you need to log out, correct?
