Question Formatting USB drive on Chromebook that was used for Linux

Hi all

I used the chromebook recovery tool to make a bootable usb drive for another project. I'd quite like to use it again as a regular storage device. Except it's not showing in "Files" on my Acer Chromebook 14. I've used the the Recovery Tool to delete the what's on the drive, but it's still not showing.

Anyone got any ideas?

Never mind. Another cycle of restarts and using the chromebook recovery tool and it's appeared again. Most odd.
