Frap question

went to use fraps wile playing ffxiv and after about an our i went to watch the tape and noticed 2 things

1 it split my hour of taping into 14 equaly long videos its never done that before.

and 2 it dosnt show video only audio i tryed it in windows media player divx and quicktime and nothing showed anything but a blank black screen but i did hear all the audio.

what could be the problem should i delete it and reinstall it??

o and yess it does do this for all my other videos that i tried after i noticed the problem weather it be game or desktop or on a web page

The reason why you have several clips instead of one large one is because FRAPS doesn't support AVI 2.0 and only allows a max of 4GB per recording, regardless of the file system you're using. After that, it'll create another file and continue recording.

What version FRAPS do you have? If it's older than v3.4.2, that could also be the reason why you're only seeing black for video. In v3.4.2, they addressed and fixed an issue similar to that.
