Fraps lag?

Im trying to use fraps but whever i start recording it lags like crazy (almost like its freezing up or something, i only get like 1-5 fps?). The weird thing is when im not recording i get AT LEAST 75fps on the game im playing, and even when its recording fraps still says im getting 60-ish fps when in all reality im getting like 5?

if somone could explain whats causing this id really apreciate it 😀

Are you sure you're recording to a secondary drive?

hpw dp u do that exactly? (i dont exactly know what im doing f you havnt noticed)

Well, on movies tab in Fraps at "Folder to save movies in" make sure to select other disk than the one that contains the game.
