Don't bother then. My experience, software oc'ng is worse than bios oc'ng...
Advice, study and read read read...till you know wtf you are doing.

And the sign says "You got to have a membership card to get inside" Huh
So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>

I bought my first computer for 50$ waaaaaaaaay back in '97. It was a Packard Bell 486DX w/a whopping 32MB EDO RAM and 800MB Panasonic HD. Graphics was onboard and I can't remember the Mainboard. Came complete with Packard Bell mouse, keyboard, 14" VGA monitor and associated software. Win 95 was the OS. I don't think I made a mistake back then but I didn't know what I was doing. I figured for fifty bucks w/ all that stuff I couldn't go wrong. I didn't. I was just lucky. Then the system crashed. Don't know what I did to make it crash so I took it to a computer store. Cost me 20$. You know what the tech did, he re-installed the OS. You know what I did...? I said to myself, I could've done that myself but I didn't know how. Ever since then I promised myself that I will never be jerked like that again. I went to my brother who knew more about computers than me. Asked him and asked him till I got on his nerves and he finally recommended Tomshardware. Ever since, if I can't solve a problem I come here, but I have to try first. If I don't know how to proceed further then I ask.

What you're asking has probably been told umpteen times that if you search the boards there'd be at least 10 articles on the subject if not more.

Try it out. It works!)

Somethin that old is not likely to have a software utility for overclocking, just use the bios it isn't that hard :)
That would make a decent learning comp for ocing.
