G430's worth investing in?

Hello!

So, right now I have Tritton AX 180's. They are worn out a quite a lot (i droped them many times), both sides are broken but glued together nicely so they don't fall apart. They still do work and are usable.

Anyway, my question. I really want to replace my AX 180's with something else, because they are not that comfortable anymore, also i would really like a 7.1 sound system and overall better sound quality than AX 180's.

I came across Logitech G430, which look pretty nice, has 7.1 sound and pretty much what i would like.
So, would it be good investing into a G430 over the AX 180's?
If not, i would happily accept any other suggestions.

Honestly, by looking at them, looking at specs, and knowing that logitech are a great brand, I would defiantly pick them up. Especially for $40!

They are good headphones. The G930 are better. The Plantronic Gamecon 780s are cheaper.

I know that G930's are better, but they are also a lot more expensive. and the gamecon's, I googled, are the same price as G430's?

Yeah the gamecon 780 I found were the same price. I'd get the logitech.

The Gamecom 788s are out (the newer model of the 780). Preferably for your price range id say the Corsair H2100 and the Steelseries Siberia V3, and there is always the option of some good headphones and a modmic like the Ant Lion modmic 4.0.
