I guess I must have made my previous post a bit too specific. Hopefully I can get some replies with this one.

I am thinking about purchasing an Asus G51JX-X3. You can see it here. I am currently using a Mini-311 as a short-term laptop to get me by with things, but now it is starting to act quite sluggish.

Previous post is here if anyone wants to check it out. Kind of long though.

So....thoughts?

Solution
Your laptop is a decent gaming machine. At that price, it's quite good. The 360M is a great card and will play what you want it to. As to whether or not the OS will switch between the built in GPU on the processor and the dedicated card when needed, I don't know. This laptop will not run particularly hot. Great buy and there's not a lot of competition for it at that price range.
This Laptop will rock will most of the games with very high setting! I have also given the order for the same laptop! We can upgrade the RAM upto 8GB in future!
Most important nVidia GTS 360 SLI resloution supports the Monitor resolution of 1920x1080!
Great Laptop!

Cons:
1)This laptop will get hot if you don't purchase cooling pad
2)I have it and it had graphic card compatability issue with SC Conviction game. Just couldn't get pass through performance check at the begining.
3) 3dmark 06 shows the performance between 7000 and 9500 which is not that high today.
4) short battery life. If you plan to travel leave it home.
5) why asus put DDR3 1066? Why not 1333 or higher? this causes laptop to show 5.9 in Win7 performance table. and it doesn't matter if you put 8Gb of Ram. You will have 8GB of slow crap

the only way Asus can claim to have such prices for this laptop (1,099$) is good quality LED display and illuminated keybord. actually design of laptop is very good!

Pros: HDD Capacity 500 GB with 7200 RPM is awsome
2) 1GB GDDR5 saves the pride of GTS360 at least today. next year you'll say my laptop is crap. But know you may play Dragon Age Origins, Assasins Creed II and many others at Full high. (Forget about Crisis)
3) Keyboard design
4) High quality sound
Thats it. If you expect something more just wait for half of year at least and get laptop with ATI 5870 on board for the same price or consider adding 300$ more to get it today. Do not repeat my mistake.

P.S sorry if my english is no good. I'm not a native speeker at all
