G9000 headset, mic not working on PC

I just bought some YIMAN G9000 headphones http/www.amazon.co.uk/YIMAN-Surround-Headphone-Computer-Microphone-Black-Blue/dp/B015FVQ7JQ
The mic isn't being picked up on my pc, but the audio is. I've tried every 3.5mm slot. Both audio and mic work on my laptop but only audio on my PC. Both run windows 10. Any help?

The headphones have a "combo" jack plug for audio output & mic input, it's designed for a "combo" audio jack which many laptops have these days, including yours I'm guessing.

On most desktop PC's however, the "audio out" and "microphone in" are two separate jacks so a headset with a combo jackplug won't work properly without a splitter-cable which splits the headset's combo jack plug in to two separate jack plugs.

Splitter cable you need: One female jack >>> two male jack plugs
