Gallery photos scattered

My SD card accidentally unmounted itself, I quickly mounted it back and restarted the phone. Only to realise that my pictures are scattered no longer serially. I take new pix and I have to scroll way down to view them.

You may have to rename or reorganize them. I know of no way around that.
