hey all
my headset is a sennheiser pc350, bought way back in december 2011.
im not sure wether because the headset is now quite old, but game audio had been leaking into skype conversations for quite a while now.
i quite fancy making youtube videos again, as a hobby, based on gaming. i recorded myself playing for about 10 minutes, and i can hear the game audio in my voice audio.
i recorded my voice seperatley using audacity
here is a very quick video (audio only) of my problem:
https/youtu.be/2qbGPZrIAlQ
as you can hear, its the loud parts of of the video game, Skyrim in this case, leaks into my mic.
i have followed the guide on this page, http/www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-3167607/play-games-mic-picks-game-audio-friend-audio.html , disabling audio (playback and recording devices) that was not in use, and 'listen to this device' has always been unticked. i have also experimented with lowering the mic sensitivity and increased the boost, but i have had no such luck.
ive not had any luck on other websites for a solution, so hopefully we can find one
thanks all
Nick
