Game crashes all the time

Hello! My games crashes all the time now. Stupid as i was i tried to Overclock or something in the MSconfig as i read it somewhere it could boost up the pc. (System Start - Advanced - and then manually set as many cores i wanted to use = 8, Is must have been auto before.
After the whole computer began to play with me.. Games Crashes all the time and other applications lags and such.
I have reinstalled windows 8 again, but it does not really work yet.

Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit x64
AMD Fx 8120 Eight Core Processor 3.10 GHz
Ram 8 Gbit
Geforce GTX 670

Error message? Any more details about what is happening would be helpful here. Did you check the temps already? All drivers up to date?

There is no Error messages. Only shuts down!
Temps? I do think all drivers are up to date.
Well i have reinstalled Windows so temps should be gone?
It shows nothing, only crashes, i just play, and boom, 0.5 sec and game is dead

Or, that was my fault. I meant temperatures. Your motherboard should have come with a utility, that shows the CPU and GPU temperature. Also check the event viewer for any error messages around the crash time.

Hmm i do not really know what software that should be.. Event viewer? okay, i will see and post it.

If it's an English Windows, just enter "event" as search parameter or right click on the computer icon on the desktop / manage / Event Viewer / Windows Protocols / System. And don't get me wrong, but before fiddling around with overclocking, you should get familiar with the windows basics!

Yeah i found the event viewer. I'm going to play a game now to see what happens and look in the event viewer and report back here what happens! Thank you in advance!
