Hi I am going to buy a gaming laptop soon to do my usual gameplay stuff, so I need a laptop to be able to do that when traveling a lot. My budget is around 2000, but I cannot go over it (Budget is closer to 1900)

Specs I am looking for
17.3 Display
1900x1280 Display (Something like that, forget)
12-16GB RAM
750GB-1TB
Min. 2.6Ghz

What I would want
Thin-ish design
Atleast 3 hours of battery life
around 5-8 pounds

(I do not requre a disc writer)

Yeah, uhm, 12-16 GB of ram? Seriously?
8GB is enough to SIMULTANEOUSLY run battlefield 3, photoshop, AND 30 tabs in chrome.
"Min. 2.6 GHz" means absolutely nothing.

I highly suggest that instead of worrying directly about specs (why do you want exactly a 17.3 inch screen?) and not being happy when it doesn't meet them, trust us to find things that will game well and go with that.

What I'm going to do now you might not like. Here's the deal: a larger screen is going to take money away from the gaming capability. A 1080p resolution will do the same.

I highly suggest you consider the 128GB 14" Nvidia Blade. It's got a graphics card that's able to power the slightly lower 900p resolution with ease, it's extremely thin and has good battery, it's extremely light and portable, and you can use an external hard drive over USB 3.0 for data storage.

When i search the Nvidia Blade, i get the Razer Blade. If that is the same, then could i ask the difference between the 128GB and 256GB,

Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. The only difference between them is that the 256GB model has, well, 256GB of storage. However, it's insanely easy to add a larger SSD later if you want to, so there's no reason to pay extra for it.
