Gaming speakers advice

hello.
i hav a gaming pc and i was going to buy speakers first i was going to buy 5.1 speakers but then many people told me that 5.1 is good for music but if u want for gaming u need huge amount of base to enjoy so they adviced me to get a good 2.1 speaker system
now i want ur suggestion i hav abt $180 so i need ur help reply me as soon as possible and keep in mind i want THX dolby digital audio.
also i want to that im going to buy CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER TITANIUM SERIES SOUND CARD will this will give dolby digital sound .it is mentioned in their website that it will give digital audi . please ensure it and guid me abt digital audio now ur opinion

thats why they have a dust cap. or on those speakers a phase plug.
