I'm glad I am not into popular crap music... I can listen to music for free from smaller artists that want to be heard and actually give out free CD's and they are good too. I have hundreds of hours of music for free.

No money goes to the RIAA either, such a great feeling

[citation][nom]greghome[/nom]U already have so much cash, and u still wanna sue the hell outta other people for cash/?[/citation]You just don't get it. What part of the story are you not reading?

Hey and what's the problem. It is a perfect model. You work once and get whole life earnings. Just wait the rest of us can climb into that model: you want a house: you can get it for free but you need to pay 50$ every time you put your feet on it... Music shoot herself on the foot long time ago. The model is unfair with too wide range of people: ones are getting richer and richer while the ones who really support music have to pay...

[citation][nom]tomc100[/nom]The only real way to stop piracy is for the entertainment and software industry to basically make a deal/bribe with all the cable and high speed internet providers to ban the use of torrents.[/citation]

I take it you've never heard of file hosting? Killing torrents won't kill piracy.

It's just his latest business venture. Haven't you heard? Lawsuits are all the rage amongst the socially elite these days lol I mean, FFS he has his own live of (KISS) TV's now! What else would you expect (As DoniRoux said) "from the biggest sellout in rock and roll history? lol

If it wasn't for people sharing music with other people, most people would never buy the songs for half of the groups and bands out there.

People cannot afford to buy every single album and song they hear on the radio unless music is like crack to them, and sharing allows others to be exposed to new artists or even new material from old artists. This in turn creates demand for concerts and gets "fresh faced, frekled face" college bands doing their first gigs and getting their 5 minutes of fame that could turn into more.

Without sharing there would be an even worse affect on the industry and I really wish that these guys like Gene Simmons who think he knows everything about the world (and can't even use a laptop properly) can make opinionated statments about a world he doesnt understand (the internet).

[citation][nom]drwho1[/nom]cute farm story funny as hell LOL[/citation]

I wonder if Gene has considered writing children story books, he seems to have a nack for coming up with complete utter bullshit!

I was/am (conflicted) huge KISS fan. However now I feel being part of the KISS Army means being just a sucker to a guy trying to make money, not art nor music, but money, and that somehow "dirties" the feeling of listening to his music. In Gene's analogy of the fox, he did say one part about the fox telling all his friends. He forgot to realize that yes, a few foxes may steal, but some will pay if the egg is a good one. Also, that fox will go "Hey, come to this farm, this place has the best eggs. That other place is a crap house."

I am going to download the complete collection.......and then DELETE IT!!!!

Stupid way to advertise himself. even with that being said, who is he? I bet he is some small time idiot who who got kicked off of American idol during auditions, then decided to make the crappiest song on the planet, then blame piracy as the reason for no one paying him gratuitous amounts of money for the worst song in the world.

As i said on another site that ran this...halfa$$ frontman for a halfa$$ group that happened to have a gimmick that worked...now he wants te whine about downloading while his son is a plagerist!! BLODDY BRILLIANT says I. BTW Gene, grow up! you are no longer rellivant! And yeah...download the whole discography burn it to CDs..and then burn it all!
