Solved! get coursera application or access on a Sony Smart TV

I have a 40" Sony Smart TV.
I am trying to get to the Coursera classes and I can not.
The application is not available on the Sony all applications option.
I tried to get in by means of the Internet Explorer option, but even if I type the URL it will freezes and go nowhere.
Actually, I find that the Internet browser is useless in my TV for anything.
If just freezes trying to get anywhere.
I have reasonable internet access and speed on my computer.
My TV is hardwired to the Internet not on Wi-Fi.

Connect a laptop/PC/Android box to your TV, or get a Chromecast, and use you PC/tablet/phone to cast the screen to the TV. As you've found, the browsers on these "Smart" TV's (especially on older models) is close to useless.

Is your smart tv an android tv?if so you can try an app called 'courseratv'.
