get sidebar gadget of time and calender for windows 7

I have Windows 7 and used to have the sidebar gadgets of the clock and calendar. Now they are gone can't figure how to get them back. Of course windows says they are not available but are trying to cram windows 10 down my throat. Tried it and hated so I reverted back to windows 7.

Those are no longer officially supported. Please refer to this statement from Microsoft: http/windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/gadgets

You can probably still get them from other sources, but Microsoft is basically telling you that you're on your own if you choose to ignore their warning and something goes wrong.
