Getting a Magic remote to work with a TV that does not have that feature. Is there any hack or app so that I can use my magic

Is there a hack or app that allows a magic remote to be used on the same brand of tv but the tv I have is newer but does not offer the magic remote. I really love that feature on my last tv and I had to do a warranty exchange and the tv I got doesn't offer the magic remote. Is there a hack or app or something so I can use the magic remote?
