Hi all,

I am considering buying the new Gigabyte Aero 14 v8 (with the 8750h 6 core) for it's modern performance and excellent screen, however, was wondering if anyone could share his/her experience.

So far, I have only been able to find 1 review, which was excellent.
Nevertheless, I would really like to receive more input.

In addition, as any brand with W10 pre-installed ships a massive load of bloatware , I was wondering if I could use the Windows key that comes with this laptop to download a clean W10 image from Microsoft's own website? Or do I need to buy an additional copy of W10 to do this? And will this remove the official calibration settings of the excellent screen?

Thanks a million!

You do not need a key to download the Windows 10 ISO, and you do not need to enter the key to reinstall (W10 will re-activate when you're online).... assuming it's activated already & you reinstall the correct version (Home, Pro etc)

As for the calibration, I have no idea. Both hardware & Software calibrations are available........ There is a calibration "device" listed by Gigabyte though.... so I'd maybe lean towards it being hardware-based, but cannot say for sure.
