I have a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5320. It initially came with 4GB of ram, but I recently installed 8GB(properly). I assumed that a portion of the new memory would go to the integrated graphics, but I noticed that my graphics card is still only using 495 MB of the 8 GB.

If I go into the BIOS, there is no graphics or video option. Is there any 3rd party option to allocate more ram to the integrated graphics.

Adding dedicated ram to integrated graphics will help performance.
Sometimes laptop bios are dumbed down and will not have any tweaking options.

Possibly there might be a setting in your AMD graphics driver for what you want.

it will only help if you are running out of vram, so the question is, is the 495 a constant or just as much as it has used so far. To test load a game, set max AA and see what the vram usage is like?

How do I get to the driver settings.
